Current Netflix rental:
waiting on Walk the Line
That was surreal. The local Fox affiliate just stuck a two-minute Friends clip in the middle of Frasier. I am home alone and feeling like channel surfing. Howie Mandel was on Jay Leno. Yikes! He is my pet peeve. Usually, pet peeves aren't human, but that one is.
What is happening on Will and Grace and does anyone care? It looks like Grace is pregnant in the previews I've seen. I know the show is wrapping up. Can someone fill me in before the series finale?
Since I'm apparently such a TV junkie, I waited in line over an hour to see Mythbusters (a la Discovery Channel) Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman in person at Texas Tech. It was a free little show in the Student Union ballroom, as long as you had a Tech ID. We're such rebels that we sneaked my high school-age siblings in with IDs that didn't belong to them. There was only space for 750 people, and I think there must have been twice that many in line. Insane! The show was fun. I really like their TV show. Also, there was a microphone going around for audience members to ask questions. First guy to ask a question...asks his girlfriend to marry him. He plops right down on one knee and pulls out the ring and pops the question. It was cute if you like that kind of thing.
I taught the Cub Scouts Bear Pack tonight. I don't know if I'm the den mother type. We learned about geography. I thought it was fun. Maybe we should expect that from someone bloggin' and channel surfin' at midnight. Tsk tsk. Good night.
